I am APALLED. About several things, the most recent being some of the people who Christie and Jon are inviting to their wedding. There are GUYS my AGE who are apparently Jon's friend. One of them is the guy I liked for...a long time. Remember GUNKY??? (For those of you who don't know, it's a camp name...therefore I didn't make him up. I pointed him out at YC I think Da. He had red hair. Like, seriosuly red hair, not orange like those red head wannabes) Yes, he is invited. Auuuuuuuuuugh. I still remember the day at Eagle Bay at which time he spoke to me. He was 'skiing' down a rocky slope/cliff without skis and snow. Ah, that was such a good time. Especially the van with the guys including SMURD. ;) Oh the goings on in there. Alison and I were the 2 girls and there were 5 guys I think. And some of them were band guys so the best time was had when we played 'In the jungle..' and they played guitar, jembe, etc along with it. The sneezing on me episode was not so great. Nor was the processed meat/cheese fight. Of course, if I had some of that processed material it woulda been great, but alas I had none. Then there was ditching the girls our age for the girls older than us. That was awesome, although several snobs in our age group had something to say about that. Not that they wanted us there anway. My favourite part was when we sat on the porch, I was on the railing which was maybe 3 metres above the ground and the path ran right past it...I was breathing darth vader-like and scared so many people. Awesome. And climbing the mountain, the gorgeous view of the Shushwap and surrounding hills in fall colours...getting lost with our little group. Campfires. Bridges. Games. Movies. Pool. Ahhh, I loved it. And the snowball fight on the way back which I had no intention of taking part in but was forced to upon being struck by snow whilst still sitting in the van. My my, it's much more fun being in a van with a few people than being on the bus with many. :D Alas, that seems to be the story of my life. I can't function in large groups of people.
