Footy! Teehee!

To keep up with the all-encompassing football theme, I have a fact of the day for y'all from the beautious Scotman [link on sidebar ;)].
Today in 1970 Brazil beat Italy in Mexico City to become football's world champions and win the Jules Rimet Trophy for a record third time. If you're not heartily fed up with football, see what's going on at Euro 2004. I must go check this out myself to keep up with the times, I'm sadly behind in football news these days. And considering it is the first and foremost thing on the minds of all European people this is the only way I can live through a conversation. The only problem is...if Uk-ians are so 'non-European' how can they be such passionate supporters of England in the EURO 2004? I mean, it's not REEEEALLY part of Europe, right? ;) This confusion coming from the voice of logic, is that not evidence enough that they're all crackpots over there?
